City Bomber (World)

In City Bomber, you pilot a car through a scrolling cityscape, with enemies and obstacles coming at you from all sides. The core loop is simple: drive forward, dodge oncoming traffic and debris, and take out enemy vehicles by ramming them or using your weapons. Each hit or collision reduces your health, so you need to balance aggression with survival. The game ends when you run out of lives, and your final score is tallied - typical quarter-muncher stuff.

When you first boot up, press Enter to start. You'll see a title screen then a brief demo. Insert a coin (or press the mapped coin button if available) then Enter again to begin. The controls are responsive but twitchy: use Arrow Keys to steer, X to jump over obstacles?, and S to shoot? - actually, the exact action buttons may vary, but in most versions X handles your main attack and S does a secondary function. Experiment quickly during the first few seconds. If the game has a diagnostic or service mode, avoid it; just mash Start until you're driving. Since it's an arcade title, the goal is to survive as long as possible and get a high score - no save states, no continues after your credit runs out.
