Circus Charlie (level select, set 1)

In Circus Charlie you take on six circus events one at a time. The first thing you do is press Start to begin. Depending on the ROM revision you may see a title screen then a level select where you can jump straight to any event. The core loop is simple: navigate each minigame using the arrow keys to move left or right and press X to jump. The B button makes Charlie run or perform a secondary action like bouncing on a trampoline.

Each event has a different objective. For example the high‑wire act has you walk across a tightrope while avoiding falling weights. The lion taming segment requires you to leap over lions. The game keeps track of your score and a timer pushes you to finish quickly. There is no continue feature so you have to restart from the beginning if you lose all your lives. The level select option makes it easier to practice a specific event.
