Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja (US)
Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja (US) - Beat em Up Classic
Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja is a side-scrolling cooperative beat 'em up that Data East brought to arcades in 1988. In North America it was known simply as Bad Dudes while other regions called it DragonNinja. There are ports to home computers and consoles but the arcade original has that unique Data East style with its pixel art and energetic soundtrack. This is the US version so the title screen and text are in English. The game was a staple in arcade lineups back then and it still holds up as a straightforward brawler.
How to Play Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja (US) Online
You start by inserting a coin (press 5 on keyboard) then press Enter to begin. The game is designed for two players side by side but a single player can fight alone. Choose from the two identical player characters - they look like a muscular guy in a headband. Walk to the right and punch or kick the incoming ninjas and thugs. The core gameplay loop is simple walk forward fight enemies until they're all down then progress to the next area. Watch out for the boss characters who appear at the end of each level - they have unique attack patterns. Your character can run by pressing B twice quickly (the B button is for run/attack). Use the attack button to punch and kick. You can also jump and attack in midair. If you get grabbed you can break free by pressing buttons rapidly. The game continues until you lose all lives or defeat the final boss and rescue the President.
