Spider-Man (World) (Sega): Genesis Action

You control Spider-Man through side-scrolling levels, using his web-slinging to swing across gaps and reach high platforms. The core loop involves fighting classic villains from the cartoon, punching and kicking enemies while dodging attacks. How to Play Spider-Man (World) (Sega) Online
To start playing, press Enter on the title screen. You will see a stage select or a direct start into the first level. Use the D-Pad to move Spider-Man left and right, and press X to jump. The basic attack is the S button, which punches enemies up close. Press Z to use your web-shooters from a distance, holding the button to fire continuously.
Your goal is to reach the end of each stage while defeating all enemies and avoiding hazards. Some stages have vertical sections where you wall-crawl or swing across gaps. Press the attack buttons while near a wall to cling to it. The health bar at the top shows how much damage you can take. Collecting small icons refills health. If you fall into a pit or lose all health, you lose a life and restart from a checkpoint. Press Start to pause. There is no continue feature in the original release, so plan your moves carefully.
