Getting started: When you power on the game, you'll see a title screen with Japanese text. Press Enter to reach the character select screen. Here you can choose to play as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, or both if you have a second player. The game is designed for single-player or two-player cooperative play, and playing together unlocks different routes and puzzles.

The core gameplay is classic 2D platforming: you run, jump, and interact with objects by pushing or pulling them. Each character has a unique ability - Mickey can crawl through tight spaces, Donald can swim. You explore stages that look like magical storybook worlds, defeating enemies by jumping on them or using a magic cape. The magic cape can also be used to block attacks or reflect projectiles.

A new player should know that the game is forgiving in difficulty but rewards exploration and teamwork. Hidden areas often contain bonus items or alternative paths. If you're playing the Japanese version, save crystals that show the story are untranslated, but the gameplay is entirely visual and easy to understand.
