Getting Started

Your main goal is to find and collect all the scattered runestones before the Warlock can reach them. Each level is set in a different time period or location, and you'll need to explore each stage thoroughly while dealing with enemies and obstacles. The basic flow is simple: move right, jump over pits, and attack foes with your weapon. Keep an eye out for hidden areas that might contain runestones or power‑ups.

You start with a limited number of lives, so try to avoid unnecessary damage. The game uses a traditional health bar, and certain enemies can knock you back into hazards if you're not careful. There is no save feature, so you'll need to finish the game in one sitting or use the Genesis's password system - though passwords are not widely documented. If you get stuck, experiment with attacking different surfaces; some walls can be broken to reveal secrets. The time‑travel theme means level designs vary, but the core action remains consistent throughout.
