This is an official European release of the Tintin adventure game based on Hergé's comic 'Tintin in Tibet'. It came out for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1995, published by Infogrames. It's a side-scrolling platformer that follows the story of Tintin searching for his friend Chang in the Himalayas.
You control Tintin through various levels, jumping over gaps, dodging enemies like snow leopards and falling rocks, and collecting items. After that, you are dropped into the first level set in a snowy Himalayan landscape. Your goal is to reach the end of each stage while avoiding hazards and collecting items.
The core loop is straightforward: move to the right, jump over chasms and onto platforms, and avoid or sometimes jump over enemies like snow leopards and birds. Red flasks restore health, and blue flasks give points. Some obstacles require precise timing, such as falling boulders that roll down slopes. If you die, you restart from the beginning of the area with a life lost. There are no continues by default, but you can earn extra lives by collecting 100 points.
A few tips: pay attention to the terrain because some edges crumble underfoot. The jump arc is fixed, so you must judge distances carefully.
