Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Legends Return

Getting Started Because this is an unlicensed title, documentation is sparse. Upon booting, you will likely see a title screen and then a stage selection or character select - standard for beat 'em up games of the era. Use the D‑Pad to move your turtle left or right, and press X (A) to jump. S (B) is used for attacking, and combining these with directional inputs might trigger special moves. The core loop involves walking forward through side‑scrolling stages, fighting waves of Foot Clan enemies, and confronting a boss at the end of each level. If the game includes HUD health bars or a timer, they follow typical Genesis conventions. There is no save feature; progress is intended to be completed in one sitting. If the game's menus appear in Japanese or another language, navigate using trial and error - Start usually begins, Select may toggle options. Most beat 'em ups on the Genesis share similar control logic, so experiment to discover any item pickups or power‑ups. Patience is key since unlicensed releases sometimes have unusual collision or hit detection.
