Strider Returns - Journey from Darkness

Section 2 - Getting Started This hack follows the same basic gameplay as the original Strider. Press Start to begin, then use the D-Pad to move Strider Hiryu left and right. Jump with the A button and slash with the B button. You can also climb walls and slide under obstacles. Your goal is to run through side-scrolling stages, defeating enemies and dodging traps. The hack alters enemy placements, level layouts, and sometimes graphics, so expect surprises even if you know the original game. There is no save function; rely on passwords or emulator save states to continue. Menus are in English, so navigation is straightforward. The core loop is fast-paced action: kill, move forward, defeat a boss at the end of each stage, and repeat. Take time to learn the altered patterns, as some areas are more punishing than the original.
