Sonic ZX (v1.0) (S1 Hack)

Sonic ZX plays like the original Sonic the Hedgehog. Press the Arrow Keys to move left or right, and hold down while running to spin dash. Use X to jump and S to roll into enemies or break blocks. The core loop involves racing through each level, collecting rings, avoiding spikes and badniks, and reaching the signpost at the end.

Being a hack, the layout and visuals have been altered from the base game. New players should expect familiar physics but different stage designs. If you have played Sonic 1 before, you will pick up the controls quickly. There is no in-game tutorial, so rely on trial and error to learn the new level layouts.
