How to play Sonic the Hedgehog online

Getting started: Load the game in your emulator and press Start to begin. You control Sonic through Green Hill Zone first. The core loop is simple: run right, jump on badniks, collect rings, avoid spikes and pits, and reach the goal sign before time runs out. The Spin Dash (hold down and press jump) is available from the start, but this hack fixes the bug where Sonic could get stuck on spikes or the move wouldn't charge properly. Otherwise, play it exactly like the original Sonic 1. Remember you can hold the B button (S key) while running to build up speed. Death means losing rings or restarting the zone from the last checkpoint. No save feature - just keep playing until you beat all six zones.
