Getting Started
Press Enter to start the game from the title screen. You will see a level selection menu; use the D Pad and press X to confirm, or simply let the demo run to start from Emerald Hill Zone Act 1. This hack does not alter the progression of Sonic 2, so you will run through the same zones in order.
Your objective is simple: reach the end of each act as quickly as you can while collecting rings for protection. Rings also allow you to enter special stages by finding giant rings hidden in the levels. The D Pad controls movement, X jumps, and S is used to spin dash by holding down and pressing S, then releasing. Avoid spikes, water, and badniks unless you bounce on them from above.
