How to Play Sonic-Into the void Online
Getting Started
Sonic-Into the void is a level hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, so you control Sonic (and optionally Tails) through redesigned stages. Start by pressing Start at the title screen - the hack uses the same menu layout as the original game. The core loop remains familiar: run from left to right, collect rings, defeat enemies, and reach the giant ring at each stage's end to proceed.
The zones have been completely replaced with custom layouts, often featuring trickier platforming and new gimmicks. You can still spin dash by holding down then quickly pressing up on the D-Pad, and special stages are activated by reaching checkpoints with 50 rings while jumping into the star post. Since this is a hack, there are no official instruction manuals - your best bet is to jump in and explore, learning the level design through trial and error.
