Getting Started

Start the game as you would any Sonic title: press Enter to start, then select a save slot if prompted (though saves are unlikely in this hack). You'll be dropped into Green Hill Zone with Sonic. The core loop is the same as the original: run right, collect rings, avoid or spin-dash into enemies, and reach the goalpost at the end of each act.

The "Survival" twist means you have less room for error. Rings may not protect you from a single hit, or lives might be limited more harshly. Take your time learning enemy patterns and platform layouts. There are no extra continues or checkpoints beyond the standard ones, so every mistake could send you back to the title screen. If you're stuck, restarting the level from scratch is often quicker than trying to recover from a bad position.
