How to play Sonic Encore online

Most Sonic hacks use the same core controls: run with left/right, jump with the A button, and spin dash by holding down then pressing jump. Sonic Encore plays like a typical 2D platformer where you move from left to right through themed zones, collect rings, and defeat badniks. The goal is to reach the end of each act while maintaining speed and avoiding pitfalls. New players should treat it like a standard Sonic game for the Genesis - expect fast movement, loop-de-loops, and hidden paths. If you're familiar with the original Sonic games, you'll pick this up quickly.
