Sonic 3D: No Flickies

Getting Started

When you start Sonic 3D: No Flickies, you'll be in the level select or directly in the first zone. The core objective is to guide Sonic to the end of each stage by running, jumping, and collecting rings. Since the Flickies have been removed, you don't need to herd birds to switches; instead, you simply navigate the isometric levels and avoid obstacles and enemies.

The game retains the same physics and controls as the original Sonic 3D Blast. Use the D-Pad to move Sonic in eight directions, and press the A button (X on keyboard) to jump. The B button (S) lets you perform a spin attack or jump on enemies, and you can also use it to break open item monitors. Each level ends with a giant ring that transports you to the next zone when you collect enough rings.

Because this is an English-language hack based on the original US release, all menus are in English and easy to navigate. There's no need to worry about language barriers. The difficulty is similar to the base game, but the altered level layouts and absence of Flickies can make progression feel different. Save isn't built into the ROM; you'll need to use emulator save states or passwords if available in the original code.
