Getting Started
When you load up Sonic 3 & Knuckles Megamix, you will see a modified title screen. Press Start (Enter) to proceed. You can then pick a character: Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles. Each has different abilities: Sonic can spin-dash and become Super Sonic with all emeralds, Tails can fly for short periods, and Knuckles can climb walls and glide. Choose using the D-Pad (Arrow Keys) and confirm with X (jump).
The game plays like the original: run right through each act, collect rings, avoid spikes, and defeat Dr. Robotnik at the end of each zone. The Megamix changes include rearranged level segments, new enemies in some spots, and tweaked difficulty.
