Getting Started
When you launch the game, you will see a title screen. Press Enter (Start) to proceed. You will then be prompted to select a save file or start a new game. Choose "New Game" to begin. On the character select screen, you can pick Sonic (alone or with Tails), Tails, or Knuckles using the D-Pad and confirm with X (A button).
The game opens with a short cutscene before you take control in Angel Island Zone. Your goal is to reach the end of each act by running right, avoiding spikes, pits, and badniks, and collecting rings.
