How to Play Sonic 3 - Blue Knuckles Story Online
Getting started: When you boot up Sonic 3 - Blue Knuckles Story, you will start a new game immediately controlling Knuckles on the Angel Island Zone. The goal is to reach the end of each act by running to the right, avoiding enemies and spikes, collecting rings for protection, and grabbing power-ups like shields. Use Knuckles' glide ability by pressing the B button in midair while holding a direction, then press a direction again to climb walls.
Your health is represented by rings: losing all rings when hit means losing a life. Collect 100 rings for an extra life. The game uses both Sonic and Knuckles physics, so remember that Knuckles cannot spin dash like Sonic but can break certain walls and climb. There are no checkpoints in the original game per se, but you will respawn at the beginning of the act if you die. The game has no save functionality unless a save state is used via the emulator.
Since this is a hack, the level order and enemy placements remain as they were in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. You will not find any new zones or bosses beyond what the original game provided.
