How to Play Sonic 2 with Knuckles v1.1 Online
To start, select 'New Game' from the title screen. You will take control of Knuckles immediately. The game follows the same level order as Sonic 2. Use the D-Pad to move left and right, and press the jump button (X) to leap. Knuckles can glide by pressing jump again while in the air. To climb walls, hold the D-Pad toward a wall while in contact. Avoid spikes and enemies, and collect rings to survive. The special stages are accessed by collecting 50 rings and jumping into the giant ring at the end of a zone. Practice the glide timing to reach high platforms.
The core strategy is similar to Sonic 2: maintain speed and gather rings. Knuckles cannot spin dash, so his ground speed is slightly slower than Sonic's, but his aerial mobility makes up for it. Use climbing to bypass obstacles and find secret areas. The game ends when all zones are completed.
