Getting Started

This is a hacked version of Sonic 2, so the basics are the same: you control Sonic (or Tails) through side-scrolling levels, collecting rings and defeating enemies by jumping on them. Your goal is to reach the end of each zone, which usually ends with a boss fight against Dr. Robotnik. The hack likely alters level layouts, enemy placement, or introduces new challenges, but the core loop of run, jump, and spin-dash remains intact.

Start by pressing Enter to see the title screen, then choose your character and begin a new game. The controls are straightforward: use the D-Pad to move, X to jump, and S to spin-dash or attack while running. Tails (if present) can fly briefly when you press the jump button again mid-air if you are playing as him. Experiment with moving through the first zone to get a feel for any changes the hack has made.

Since this is a fan hack, expect possible differences in difficulty, ring placement, or even new objects. If you get stuck, remember the classic Sonic strategy: keep moving, avoid spikes, and hold onto your rings. There is no in-game manual, so rely on your experience with the original Sonic 2 or similar platformers.
