The core loop is straightforward: run from left to right, collect rings to protect yourself, defeat or avoid Badniks, and reach the giant ring at the end of each act to move forward. The hack's big draw is the extra zones not seen in the retail version, like Hidden Palace and Wood Zone. Look for hidden paths and alternate routes - some lead to the lost content. The game keeps the same two-act structure and ends with a final boss fight against Robotnik.
Since this is based on Sonic 2, the physics are identical: you can spin dash by pressing down and then jump, roll into enemies, and blast through loop-de-loops. The hack doesn't add new moves or power-ups, so anyone who has played the original will feel right at home. If you get stuck, remember that rings act as health and that checkpoints are your save point between lives.
