How to Play Sonic 1 Character Pak Online
First, load the ROM in your browser emulator. The title screen will look like Sonic 1 but might mention the character swap. Press Enter to start. You control the character through Green Hill Zone, Marble Zone, and the rest. The jump and spin dash work as usual, but if you have different character abilities (like Tails' flight), experiment with the D-Pad and B button.
The core loop is straightforward: run right, avoid spikes, collect rings, and defeat enemies by jumping on them. Grab a shield or speed shoes if you see them. Reach the large ring at the end of each act to proceed. Special Stages are accessed by collecting 50 rings and jumping into the giant ring at the end of a zone. Use the character's unique moves to discover shortcuts or reach higher ground that Sonic couldn't.
