How to play Shikinjoh online
Getting Started
When you start Shikinjoh, you'll be greeted by a title screen and then a menu written in Japanese. Press Enter to start a game, then use the D-Pad and A (X key) to select options. Choose between one-player or multiplayer (up to 4 players). The game will assign you a character token and some starting money.
The core loop is simple: take turns rolling dice by pressing the A button, move your token the number of spaces shown. If you land on a property, you can buy it if you have enough cash. Landing on an opponent's property forces you to pay rent. There are also special spaces that trigger events or give bonuses. The goal is to bankrupt your opponents by owning key properties and managing your funds wisely.
Because the menus are entirely in Japanese, you may need to experiment to understand options during property purchases or when event cards appear. Pay attention to your money counter (shown on screen) and property list. If you get stuck, the game's core loop is intuitive enough that a few trial rounds will teach you the basics. Save your progress using the in-game save feature if available by pressing Start at the appropriate menu.
