Getting Started

Segapede is a prototype, so there is no official manual or in-game instructions. Based on the title and genre conventions, you likely control a small ship or cursor at the bottom of the screen, moving left and right with the D-Pad (Arrow Keys) while firing upward at descending centipede-like enemies using the S button (B button). The core loop is simple: shoot everything that moves, avoid getting hit, and try to survive as long as possible. Because it's a prototype, expect limited levels or a single-screen arena with no save or continue system.

If this is a Japanese version, menu text may be in Japanese. Press Start (Enter) to begin; the Select button (V) might not function. Since no scoring or lives system is documented, treat each session as an experimental play. The game may not include a proper ending or victory condition - its value is in seeing an unfinished piece of gaming history.
