How to Play Mobius Evolution Online
Getting Started: When you first load Mobius Evolution, you will see a modified title screen. Press Start to access the options. Use the D-Pad to select a save slot or start a new game. The game is in English so menus are straightforward. You begin as Sonic at the first zone.
The core loop is classic Sonic: speed through each act, collect rings for protection and points, defeat Badniks, and reach the goal ring. Rings are vital - losing all of them leaves you vulnerable to one-hit defeat. Rings also unlock a special stage if you hold 50+ at the goal. The level layouts are different from Sonic 2, so expect surprises.
There is no save function - you must beat the game in one sitting. However, you can use level select codes (if included) or continue from the last completed zone. If you get stuck, practice each act's layout. The hack can be unforgiving at times, but it stays true to the Sonic formula.
