Megaman - The Wily Wars Fixer Upper

Getting Started When you start Megaman - The Wily Wars Fixer Upper, you are first shown a title screen. Press Enter (Start) to advance. The game presents a menu where you choose between playing the remakes of Mega Man 1, 2, or 3, or the original Wily Tower mode. Select a game with the D-Pad and confirm with X (A button). The menus are in English so navigation is straightforward. Once inside a game, you control Mega Man through side-scrolling stages. Your goal is to reach the end of each stage and defeat the boss - a Robot Master. After defeating a boss, you gain their special weapon, which you can switch to with Z or A (Y or X buttons). Use the weapon wheel by pressing Start to pause and select a weapon. Remember that some weapons are more effective against certain bosses, so experiment. The core loop is: enter a stage, fight through enemies and hazards, defeat the boss, and repeat until all Robot Masters are beaten, then tackle the final fortress. The Fixer Upper hack reduces slowdown and sprite flicker that plagued the original release, so the action should feel smoother. Keep an eye on your health bar (top left) and weapon energy (top right). Collect blue energy capsules for health and yellow for weapon energy. If you die, you restart from the last checkpoint or beginning of the stage, depending on the game. Take your time learning enemy patterns - the platforming is precise and unforgiving in classic Mega Man fashion.
