Getting Started
When you start a level, lemmings pour out of a trapdoor. Your job is to make sure enough of them reach the exit. Before they start moving, you can pause the flow and select a skill from the bar at the bottom of the screen. Click on the skill icon, then click on a lemming to assign that ability. For example, give a builder the task of constructing a bridge over a gap.
Each level tells you how many lemmings you need to save. If too many fall off edges or get trapped, you fail. The key is to assign the right class at the right moment. Some skills are limited in number, so you have to budget carefully. Pay attention to the layout and figure out which route works best before the lemmings stampede past.
You can also use the D-Pad to scroll the screen and look ahead. The game gives you a time limit, so keep moving. After completing a level, you receive a password that lets you resume from that point later. Write it down if you plan to come back later.
