How to play Herzog Zwei online

Getting Started When you boot up Herzog Zwei, press Start to see the title screen and then Select to choose between one-player or two-player mode. In single-player you fight against a computer opponent; in two-player you face another human. After selecting a map from the available list, the match begins with your base in one corner and the enemy base opposite. Your first move should be to study the terrain and decide how to approach capturing the neutral outposts scattered across the map. You control your mech using the D-Pad to move. Press the A button (X key) to switch between jet and robot mode. In jet form you move fast across the map but cannot attack ground units; in robot form you walk slowly but can fire your weapon and capture bases. To purchase units, fly your mech into your own base and a menu will appear. Use the D-Pad to highlight units and press the B button (S key) to buy them.
