In General Chaos, you command a squad of four soldiers through a series of tactical battles. The D-pad moves the on-screen cursor to select units and issue orders. Press the A button (X) to confirm actions and the B button (S) to cancel or attack. Each soldier has a limited number of grenades and a primary weapon, and you'll need to manage their positions to outflank the enemy.

The core loop involves selecting your squad members, moving them toward enemy soldiers while taking cover, and eliminating opponents to capture their flag. The game uses a turn-based-like structure within real-time movement, so you'll pause to give orders and then watch them play out. You can also switch between direct control of individual soldiers and overall squad commands.

New players should start with the training mission to learn the controls and unit behaviors. Pay attention to the stamina and ammo indicators, and don't forget to use grenades to flush enemies out of cover. The game supports two-player co-op, which makes the chaos even more fun.
