Felix the Cat

Getting started is straightforward. Power on the game and you are greeted with a title screen; press Start (Enter) to begin. The core loop involves moving Felix from left to right across stages, jumping over pits and onto platforms while avoiding or defeating enemies. You can attack by using the B button (S key) and jump with the A button (X key). Collecting certain items, like a bag of coins or a magic wand, may grant temporary power-ups that change your abilities, though specific details vary in this unlicensed build.

Each level ends when you reach a flag or exit point. Enemies include typical cartoon foes like mice, birds, and robots. The game follows platformer logic: you have a health bar (often hearts) and lose a life upon taking too many hits. If you are playing an unlicensed cartridge, expect possible differences in music, graphics, or level design compared to the NES original. No continues or save states are built in, but emulators allow saving at any point. Experiment with the controls to discover any unique mechanics specific to this Genesis port.
