David Robinson's Supreme Court is a basketball game released for the SEGA Genesis during the early 90s, when sports titles were a big part of the console's library. Developed by Sega themselves, this game puts you in charge of a fictional team rather than using real NBA squads or players. It was sold in both North America and Europe, fitting the era's trend of athlete-endorsed games even if the actual gameplay didn't focus on the NBA star directly. The core experience is straightforward five-on-five basketball. You pick a team from a roster of fictional squads, then play a regulation game with typical rules: dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending. The controls let you move, jump for rebounds or blocks, and pass to teammates. There is a fast-break feel and a simple arcade approach to pacing. No season mode or deep management options exist here just pick up and play. Today, David Robinson's Supreme Court is a niche title worth a look if you are curious about early Genesis sports games or Sega's own attempts at the genre. It does not hold up as well as the more polished NBA Jam or even Sega's later Sports titles, but for a quick arcade basketball fix it gets the job done. The fictional teams keep the experience generic, and the gameplay is simple enough to enjoy in short bursts without a steep learning curve.

How to play David Robinson's Supreme Court online

First, after booting the game, you will likely see a title screen and a press start prompt. Hit Enter to get to the main menu. You will probably need to select a team from a list of fictional squads. Use the arrow keys to navigate and the X button to confirm your choice. Many Genesis sports games use similar menu logic. Once a game starts, the objective is to score more points than the opposing team within the time limit. Move your player with the arrow keys, use the B button (S key) to steal or turbo, and the A button (X key) to jump for rebounds or shots. Passing is typically automatic or tied to one of the other buttons. The game plays like a standard arcade basketball sim from the early 90s, with simple offense and defense. There is no save feature, so plan to finish your game in one sitting. Fictional teams means every matchup is a level playing field. Enjoy the straightforward pick up and play design without worrying about complex strategies or rosters.
