Getting Started

When you start the game, you'll see a title screen. Press Start to begin. You control Batman, moving left to right through levels. The core loop is straightforward: walk, jump over pits, and attack enemies with your B button. Batman can punch, kick, and use a grapple gun to swing across gaps. Each level ends with a boss fight, typically against one of the Joker's henchmen.

Keep an eye on your health bar at the top of the screen. Collecting items like the bat symbol refills health. Some stages have multiple paths or secret areas. The game is fairly linear but demands precision jumps and quick reflexes. If you get stuck, remember you can use the B button to attack while jumping to hit flying enemies or high targets.

There is no save feature, so you'll need to finish the game in one sitting or use the emulator's save states. The difficulty ramps up quickly, so expect to lose some lives early on. Learning enemy patterns is key.
