Getting Started

Choose either Batman or Robin at the title screen. Each has a slightly different moveset but the core gameplay is identical: walk right, punch enemies, and defeat all thugs on-screen to advance. The game throws waves of foes at you, including thugs with pipes, knives, and guns. You have a health bar and a special attack meter that fills as you land blows. Use the special attack (Z by default) to clear space or deal heavy damage when surrounded.

Boss fights pit you against Two-Face and The Riddler, with each stage ending in a duel. Watch their attack patterns and dodge before striking. The game supports two-player co-op, so grab a friend for an easier time. There are no continues - once your lives run out, it's game over. Memorize enemy placement and use the environment (like explosive barrels) to your advantage.

If you're playing the World version, the menus are in English and straightforward. The core loop is simple: barge through crime scenes, beat up thugs, fight a boss, repeat. It's a short but challenging brawler that demands careful positioning and aggressive play.
