Ariel the Little Mermaid

Getting started is as simple as pressing Start to begin a new game. You control Ariel as she swims through side-scrolling underwater stages, collecting musical notes and other items to progress. The core loop involves avoiding or defeating sea creatures (by touching them with Ariel's tail or using a special attack) while gathering keys to open doors that lead to the next area. Each level ends with a boss fight against a character from the film, like Ursula or one of her minions. New players should know that Ariel can swim in all directions, and using the B button performs a tail swipe to stun enemies. The game is fairly short and forgiving, designed for younger players, but still offers a decent challenge for completionists who want to find every hidden item.
