Getting Started

When the game boots up, you'll see a Japanese title screen. Navigate the menu using the D‑Pad and press the A button (X key) to start a new game. The main mode is a single‑player story campaign, and there is no language option, so expect menus in Japanese. You move your character horizontally and vertically through each stage, shooting enemies and dodging projectiles. The core loop is to clear each area by defeating all enemies and reaching the stage boss, then moving on to the next level. Pay attention to the on‑screen icons - the top bar shows health and a weapon gauge. Collect power‑ups dropped by enemies to increase your firepower or restore health. Death sends you back to a checkpoint; you have a limited number of continues. Since the game is in Japanese, trial and error is part of the experience for non‑Japanese speakers.
