How to play Uno online

Getting Started

Uno is a turn-based card game where the objective is to get rid of all your cards before your opponents. At the start, each player is dealt a hand of seven cards, and a single card is placed face-up to begin the discard pile. On your turn, you must play a card that matches the current top card by color, number, or symbol. If you cannot play, you must draw a card from the draw pile.

Special action cards change the flow of the game. Skip cards make the next player lose a turn; Reverse cards change the direction of play; Draw Two forces the next player to draw two cards and skip their turn; Wild cards let you choose the next color; and Wild Draw Four forces the next player to draw four cards while you choose the color. Use these strategically to hinder your opponents and protect your own progress.

When you have only one card left, you must indicate it by pressing the button mapped to 'Uno' (usually a prompt appears). The first player to empty their hand wins the round.
