Getting Started

When you first boot up the game, you'll see a Japanese title screen with a few menu options. The top option is usually the main game mode. Press the A button (X on your keyboard) to select it. The goal is to clear blocks by lining up three or more of the same color or symbol as they fall from the top. You can move the falling piece left or right with the Arrow Keys, and rotate or swap pieces using the B button (S key).

The core loop is simple: clear blocks, score points, and try to survive as the speed increases. Chaining combos by clearing multiple lines at once gives you a higher score. If the blocks stack to the top, the game ends. Since the menus are in Japanese, you may need to rely on trial and error to navigate options like difficulty or versus mode. The main game is a single-player endless mode where you keep playing until you lose.

There's no English patch available officially, but the gameplay is intuitive enough that you can jump in without reading text. Pay attention to the upcoming block preview to plan your moves. The game rewards quick thinking and pattern recognition, much like other classic falling-block puzzles on the Game Boy Color.
