Getting Started Select a mission from the briefing screen and take off. Your goal is to fly through hostile territory, engage enemy jets, and destroy ground targets. The top-down perspective shows your aircraft and incoming threats; use the D-Pad to steer and the A button to fire missiles or cannons. Watch your fuel gauge and radar to avoid getting lost or ambushed. Each mission has specific objectives marked on the map. Approach them in order and use the pause screen to check your status. If you take too much damage or run out of fuel, the mission fails. Practice quick turns and lead your shots to hit fast-moving enemies. Landing back on the carrier ends the mission successfully. New to this version is the ability to choose between different aircraft and weapon loadouts before each mission. Experiment with loadouts to match your playstyle. The game saves progress automatically after completing a mission, so you can resume later.
