Getting to Know Net de Get - Minigame @ 100

Net de Get - Minigame @ 100 is a Japanese exclusive compilation for the Game Boy Color that bundles a hundred quick bite-sized games into a single cartridge. Released during the handheld's peak years, it capitalized on the growing trend of microgames popularized by titles like WarioWare, though it predates that series. The developers remain unconfirmed in Western documentation, but the game was part of a small wave of budget-priced minigame collections meant to offer variety on portable hardware.

Getting Started

Power on the game and you are greeted by a title screen in Japanese. Press Start to advance to the main menu, which lists categories or individual minigames. Since the interface is entirely in Japanese, experimenting with each menu option is the easiest way to learn navigation. The core loop involves selecting a minigame, completing its objective within a short time or limited tries, then returning to the menu.

Minigames range from simple reaction tests to basic puzzle challenges. Each one is self-contained and lasts no more than a minute. There is no overarching story or campaign; the goal is simply to play through as many as possible and try to beat high scores. If you struggle with a particular game, you can skip it and return later. Pay attention to on-screen symbols or animations, as many minigames rely on visual cues rather than text.
