How to play Hamtaro - Ham-Hams Unite! online
Getting Started
When you begin a new game, you take control of Hamtaro in his home clubhouse. The first thing to do is talk to the other hamsters by walking up to them and pressing the A button. They will give you hints or ask for help. Your goal is to explore the various rooms and outdoor areas, collecting special items called Sunflower Seeds and using specific words (called Ham-Ham Words) to solve puzzles and progress the story.
The core loop involves finding a hamster in need, learning a new Ham-Ham Word from another hamster, and then using that word to overcome an obstacle or cheer up a friend. You can access the menu with Start to see your current words and inventory. Remember to pet hamsters by pressing the B button near them - this often triggers events or reveals hidden items. The game is entirely in English, so menus and dialogue are easy to follow.
