Getting started

When you start the game, you're dropped into a story mode that follows the major DBZ arcs from Saiyan through Buu. You pick a character and then build a deck of cards representing attacks, defenses, and special moves. Battles are turn-based: each round you select a card from your hand, and the outcome depends on card stats and type matchups. The D-Pad navigates menus, A confirms choices, and B cancels or goes back.

The core loop is alternating between story cutscenes and card battles. Outside of battle you can manage your deck by equipping new cards earned after fights. Pay attention to card categories - physical, ki, and defense - because using the right type against an opponent's move can turn the tide. There's a practice mode if you want to learn the card system without pressure.
