Beatmania GB2 - Gotcha Mix

Beatmania GB2 Gotcha Mix is a rhythm game where you tap buttons in time with on-screen notes that scroll down from the top. The core loop involves selecting a song from the setlist, then playing through the track by pressing the correct buttons when note markers reach the target area at the bottom of the screen. The game judges your timing and builds a score, with a life bar that depletes if you miss too many notes.

All menus are entirely in Japanese, so you'll need to navigate by trial and error or use a translation guide. The main screen lets you choose between different song packs or modes. Start by selecting a song category, then pick a specific track. During gameplay, focus on the beat and try to keep up - accuracy matters for unlocking additional content later. If you fail, you can restart the song or return to the menu.
