Inside Baby Felix - Halloween

Baby Felix - Halloween is a European-only platformer released for the Game Boy Color, part of the Baby Felix line of games featuring a younger version of the famous cartoon cat. It came out around the year 2000, though the exact developer and publisher are not widely recorded. The cartridge includes English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch text, making it accessible across Europe. This is a commercial, officially licensed title, not a hack or homebrew. The player controls Baby Felix as he explores Halloween-themed levels filled with platforms, enemies, and collectibles. Core gameplay involves running, jumping, and using a simple attack to defeat ghosts, pumpkins, and other spooky foes. Each stage leads to a boss fight at the end, with the goal of collecting items and reaching the exit. Controls are standard for the GBC: the D-pad moves Felix, the A button jumps, and the B button attacks or confirms selections. As a niche title, Baby Felix - Halloween isn't a system seller, but it offers a cozy, if simple, platforming experience for fans of the character or Halloween themes. The graphics are colorful and cute, fitting the GBC's palette. If you enjoy easy, kid-friendly platformers from that era, this one is worth a quick play through for the seasonal atmosphere. It's not as polished as major first-party games, but its rarity makes it a curiosity for collectors.

How to play Baby Felix - Halloween online

SECTION 2 - GETTING STARTED When you begin Baby Felix - Halloween, you'll see a title screen that lets you start a new game using the Start button. The game is in English (and other languages), so menus are easy to navigate. Your goal is to guide Baby Felix through each level, avoiding or defeating enemies like ghosts and bats while collecting candy and other Halloween treats. The core loop is straightforward: run right, jump over pits, and hit enemies from above or with the B button. Scattered pumpkins can be broken for bonuses, and keys open doors to progress. Watch out for spikes and falling objects. Each world ends with a boss that requires a pattern to defeat. If you get stuck, remember that Felix can cling to some walls and climb ledges. There is no save feature, so you'll need to finish the game in one sitting or use the emulator's save state function. The difficulty is mild, making it suitable for younger players or casual retro fans.
