Road Rash 3

Road Rash 3 hit the SEGA Genesis in 1994, landing in both the USA and Europe. It's the third entry in EA's long-running motorcycle racing series, known for blending high-speed racing with brutal hand-to-hand combat. This version replaced the traditional sprite art with digitized characters, giving the game a noticeably different look compared to its predecessors. The player takes on the role of a racer competing on courses set in real-world locations like the Isle of Man, Kenya, and Germany. Each race is a mix of steering through traffic and fighting opponents with punches, kicks, and weapons picked up along the road. The goal is to place high enough to earn money for faster bikes and upgraded gear, while also avoiding cops who try to pull you over. Road Rash 3 is worth revisiting because it sits at the peak of a classic Genesis series. The digitized graphics give it a distinctive early-90s vibe, and the track variety keeps the racing fresh. If you already enjoyed the earlier Road Rash games, this one refines the formula without reinventing it. It's a solid pick for anyone who likes arcade-style motorcycle action with a dose of violence.
