When you start the game, you'll see the title screen. Press Enter to begin. In Columns, you control a falling column of three jewels. Use the Arrow Keys to move the column left or right, and press Z or A to rotate the top jewel to the bottom - this lets you rearrange the order. The goal is to line up three or more jewels of the same color in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Matching them makes them disappear and scores points.
