How to play Chuck Rock online

Getting Started

When you first start Chuck Rock, you'll see a title screen and can press Start (Enter on keyboard) to begin. You control Chuck as he moves through a series of side-scrolling levels. The core objective is to rescue his wife, Chuck's wife Ophelia, who has been carried off by a large dinosaur. Each level is linear - just keep moving to the right and fight or avoid enemies.

Your standard attack is pressing the B button (S key) to perform a belly flop. You can also hold the B button to run and then release for a more powerful belly attack. The A button (X key) makes Chuck jump, and you can press B while jumping to do a mid-air belly flop. Rocks are scattered around the environment - walk over them to pick them up, then press B to throw them. Rocks can hit enemies from a distance and are especially useful against flying creatures or foes you don't want to get close to.

A few tips: watch for pits and spikes that will instantly kill you. Some enemies take multiple hits to defeat, and getting hit will knock you back, so try to attack from a safe distance when possible. Collecting fruit and other items restores health.
