Gokiburi Daisakusen - Bug Bomb

Getting Started

When you start Gokiburi Daisakusen - Bug Bomb, you will see a title screen in Japanese. Press the Enter key to begin. Your goal is to eliminate cockroaches that appear in a room or on a flat playfield. You control a character that moves left and right (and possibly up and down, depending on the view). Use the arrow keys to move around and press the S button to attack or throw bug bombs.

The core loop is straightforward: roaches spawn from edges or hidden spots, and you must wipe them out before they overwhelm you. Some versions may have a timer or limited lives. The attack often sends out a projectile or places a bomb that clears a small area. Watch for larger or faster bugs that might require multiple hits. Since the menus are entirely in Japanese, explore by pressing buttons until something happens - most options are either start or select. The game ends when you lose all lives, often displayed with a game over screen in Japanese.
