Break Out is a straightforward breakout-style arcade game for the MSX 1 home computer, likely released during the platform's early years in the early 1980s. The exact publisher and developer are not widely documented, but the title was part of a wave of breakout clones that appeared across early microcomputers. It offers the same core loop that made the original arcade hit so addictive: destroy blocks with a bouncing ball while keeping it from falling off the screen.

How to play Break Out online

Getting started The objective is simple: use the paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce a ball upward into a wall of colored bricks. Each time the ball hits a brick, that brick disappears and you earn points. The ball moves faster as you clear more bricks, so timing and paddle positioning become critical. Start by pressing Start (Enter) to begin a round. Move the paddle left and right with the Arrow Keys. If the ball falls past your paddle, you lose a life. The game ends when all lives are lost. Try to clear every brick to advance to the next level or complete the game. Since this is a basic breakout game, there are no power-ups or special items - just raw paddle control and anticipation. Stay centered under the ball when it's heading down, and learn to aim by hitting the ball at different points on the paddle.
