Timing and rhythm matter when reeling in fish to avoid breaking the line or losing your catch. Because this is a Japanese-only release, all menus and dialogue are in Japanese. If you cannot read the language, you will need to rely on pattern recognition or an online translation guide. Key actions like casting, reeling, and changing bait are performed with the D-Pad and buttons, but specific commands may vary. Experiment carefully in the opening area to learn the interface before venturing into harder locations. Progression requires earning money from selling fish and upgrading your rod, reel, and tackle. Some fish only appear at certain times of day or weather conditions, so pay attention to the in-game clock. Losing a big fish reduces your stamina, which recovers by resting at the home base.
